Union beach nj. Anyone familiar with the area?? (North Middletown: living, to move)

Looking to move from NYC. Been back and forth to see the area and I like it, BUT id really like some more info from actual people living or having lived there??

I've lived in North Middletown area for quite some time now which is close enough to union beach. The area is fine. Some people will tell you otherwise, but for the most part it's just working class people who mind their own bussiness.
