I don't know about any real $$ for them, but there is a Princeton Record Exchange which does have mostly cd's but I am sure they would be a good starting point to find out if there is any interest.

Try Vintage Vinyl down in the Fords section of Woodbridge. They're mostly rock/alternative music, but they may have a use for what you have or be able to point you in the right direction.

If they're in good shape, there's definitely a market for old vinyl. You might even have something rare mixed in there that a collector would really want.

Worst case, you could "paper" your basement walls with the cover art -- that's the part that I miss most about LP's.

Thanks guys. It seems like maybe I could get a buck or 2 for each one according to the websites. 300 times a buck or two sounds like a AC trip in the future for the penny slot machines. Honey get the overnight bags ready.

People buy them at garage sales. My own brother has tons of vinyl and plays them on a turntable. I wouldn't throw them out if I were you.

It's not always the record that has value; you need to look into the LP cover art as well. If you want to keep a few, you can get album frames from a.c. moore (or other craft store) to hang them on the wall.

Make sure you claim that as income- wouldn't want to avoid participating in the "shared sacrifice"!!

Yeah, I have 33s & 45s.
