how come when you come into nj there are no welcome centers/rest room, none on rt 78,80,parkway?? but they build a truck weight station on 78 thats never open ,how much did that cost....and still no place to pee.god help the truckers and out of staters.maybe they should put a sign up on the hi ways welcome to nj now pee on the side of our roads.......
Really? You need some kinda red carpet rolled out for ya? Pee before you cross the state line or wait for the next gas station, it'll be max another 10 minutes.
That's my biggest pet peeve when traveling between NC and NJ. Every state along the way has a welcome center just as soon as you enter the state where you can get free maps, travel info, take a leak. I80 has one welcome center 10-20 miles after you enter NJ. I 78 has none just a rest area with no bathrooms in Bloomsbury.
Somebody did mention the weigh station on 78 and they are open when the heavy truck traffic is there. Big money maker for NJ.(ask the truckers)
You can get all that information at all rest stops along the NJTPK(I95). 95 is also the most common route that out of staters take through NJ. Rts 80 and 78 are not only relatively short distances through NJ, they pass through some heavily populated areas and have exits every few miles.
NJ Is not like Ohio/PA where you see nothing but farmland for 100 miles at a time.
