Can anyone recommend a good place to go in Jersey that will give me a fair price for some gold and diamonds?

there is a place on Oak street in RIdgewood, NJ they pay 90 cents on the dollar for weight of gold which is excellent. Ridgewood coin shop I think its called on Oak street. Very fair and best prices around!! I have heard that Palisades Jewlers are good for diamonds in Englewood or Fort Lee?

I would go to a few local jewelers. Shop around - they all give you different prices.

Best place I have gone to is E&E Jewelry Buyers in Perth Amboy NJ. Their prices were the highest I could find after shopping around. Plus they paid cash and it was first come first served. For some reason I didn't like the idea of making an appointment to bring in my gold. Hope this helps.

Go to a refiner. They pay the best.

In South Jersey, contact Hagstoz on Jewelers row in Philly. I know that they used to be refiners. If they are not still refining, they can tell you where to go.
