I am looking for for a 1 bedroom Apt for me and my son(750.00 to 900.00). I have full time job but to due to my financial circumstances and also divorce.
I am unable to provide the security. I would have to give the first half of rent on NOV 15 and the other half at the end of the month. I would like to move in as soon as possible.I know I am asking a lot but I am in need. If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks,

OLSNJ

That's going to be a tough one- no deposit, and paying in arrears instead of up front. You might want to try a local church who may have someone looking to offer a hand up because you're very unlikely to find a landlord willing to agree to such an arrangement.

Unfortunately Bob is correct. You will be hard pressed to find anyone, except maybe a 2 family house where you know the owner, to rent under those conditions.

Check your county website for the various charities and welfare that will assist you.
Check your local churches, there are programs to help people from becoming homeless..
just keep checking and be a squeeky wheel

I know this may suck as a solution but why not try an extended day hotel until you save up enough money for a deposit?

I did this when I first got my own apt because there was a lapse in between when my lease ran out and I could move into my next apt. It may seem just as expensive if you stay there for a month or more - my rent was like $200 a week - but I still saved cause I wasn't paying my $100 electric bill, $60 gas bill, $44 water bill, $150 cable & phone bill, etc...

Just a thought- good luck
