I will be moving to Monmouth Junction shortly and wondering my commute options from Exit 8A to NYC. I searched and found Suburban Transit, but not sure the difference between the different "Route/Trip" - Suburban, Academy. Which one offers monthly pass? Can I take a pass in one and travel on the other?

Also, what's the process for getting a monthly parking space at the park & ride near 8A? Appreciate any recommendations.

Thanks
Venkat

Venkat,

Just call them. They will provide all the answers you need. A trip...could mean anything from a one way...then to another destination...one way. The route trips are for commuting to work on the various routes and times they have to get the city. it is best to call ahead if you are not in NJ yet. Or wait till you arrive, and drive their yourself and speak with person in charge...but if I remember: he lives by a certain time..like my 2:00-4:00 pm or something.

I use to take this over the trains many times...and had monthly passes for both... It is much cheaper to buy a monthly pas than to pay per day. Parking is not so bad as they expanded a the lot a few years ago. On the weekends...it is free to park. Good Luck to you.
