Hi, We have recently moved in to East Brunswick and my wife got a job at Bronx(Morris Park avenue). She is using Bus from New brunswick-Port authority-Express NY Bus to reach Bronx. It takes around 2/2.5 hours one way. Is there a better travel options via GW bridge? or a Van pool or shared drive? any suggestion will be helpful. Thanks
does she drive cus if she does just have her drive there traffic gwb pretty bad but once u get over tht it just a little on the cross bronx expressway then rosedale avenue exit to brp to bronx zoo exit take that to bronxdale avenue and then morris park if this is an option answer me i can tell exactly how to get there.............i go to the morris park area every weekend so i know my morris park
I would take the (2) to the (5) instead of the BxM10 once you get off the NJ bus. The (2) stops closer to the Port Authority Bus Terminal and the subway is also cheaper and more frequent. I really don't see why you would take the bus.
Also, instead of taking a bus from New Brunswick, she could take the NJT Northeast Corridor Line. The service is pretty frequent, and there are some express trains from New Brunswick.
this commute would make me want to pull my hair out. If she can she should look for a job at least in Manhattan if not closer.
