We are rebuilding our house in North Central NJ (Flemington/Bridgewater area so Somerset/Hunterdon counties).

How much is rebuilding cost per SF billed by general contractors these days? No need to buy the land so land price should be excluded but rebuilding will include the foundations and up from there. The house will be of very high quality but not top-top, so for example hard wood flooring, Andersen/Pella windows, marble foyer, stainless steel appliances (but not as high level as Subzero or Viking), etc...

Are we talking about a 1,000sf house, or a 6,000sf house? As the house gets bigger, the $/sf will go down a bit, but you're still looking at anywhere from $200-300/sf or more for a high-end, custom build.
