Great work by Ashnault. I was there to see him wrestle in the earlier rounds but didn't go back Sunday. My son is a HWT who wants desperately to make states next year, and guys like Ashnault, Bernstein (who was upset in his final) and Thompson (HWT winner) are good role models for him.
A guy like Ashnault is naturally athletic and talented for wrestling, but he also has an unbelievable amount of discipline and a freakish work ethic. That is the reason he hasn't lost in 10 years. I actually saw a YouTube video of him wrestling at age 6.
