I for one could care less about the super bowl coming to nj , the average guy cant get a ticket, for less than $1000. PARKING ONLY $150 , ROOMS $500 AND UP,GOOD LUCK. ONLY MOVIE STARS AND BIG CORPARATIONS CAN GET A TICKETS. I HOPE IT SNOWS 12INCHES JUST BEFOR GAME TIME......BUT THATS JUST ME. WHAT DO YOU THINK???
Honestly the NFL seems to act very snobbish doing things like preventing people from walking, etc. Then they wonder why we're feeling the way we do. I think they just care about the big money items. Tv ads, VIP clubs and such.
The superbowl is about money. Has been for a very long time. Very few every day fans get to go. This should not be shocking to anyone.
I heard on the radio about a week ago how some guy who is a season ticket holder (I don't remember for which team), is suing the NFL for not making enough Super Bowl tickets available for the "average" loyal fans. I'm sure it's a frivolous lawsuit, but he's trying to make a point.
That's not really true. I posted in another thread about this last week. There are tons of hotel rooms still available, and there was only 1 hotel in the vicinity of the Meadowlands with rooms over $500. Most others were in the $300 range.

Its been the same % for years. The home stadium gets a few % of the tickets for their season ticket holders and the teams in the SB get a few % as well. The rest are available to the highest bidder, although I assume some are reserved for the NFL to sue how they want.
I think the only difference this year is that since two teams share this stadium they made a slight change in the %.
I heard more business gets down at the superbowl than any other time of the year, because of exclusively type of admission.
