Or maybe the OP self-sabotaged the other two applications. You can be rejected for insufficient information. I wouldn't put it past this guy for being under-handed in his dealings.
ok, you don't have to be such a jerk in every single reply if you're not related to the Seller.
I got the pre-approval almost 3 months ago and since then my personal and finance situations have changed.
I lost my job and have too much debt on my cards and these are the reasons stated on my loan decline letters.
if you are denied because of "insufficient information" that's not good enough reason to cancel the contract.
and you are still going to blame me for the unpredictable changes in my life since the pre-approval?

Now we get the real story.
So, apparently, after you lost your job and racked up gobs of credit card debt, you decided to palm off the pre-approval letter as accurate when it was NOT, since it was obtained before those two events occurred. You lied buddy.
the guy isn't going to sue you. you cant get blood from a stone. maybe you led him on longer than you should have, maybe not. i don't care to beat you up over it. don't worry about the lawsuit.
no, i did not lie. i still had the job when i made the offer.
the job loss was less than a month ago.
I am really confused with your timeline.
Your job loss was less than a month ago, yet your two loans have already been processed and decision rendered.

Yeah, because you aren't the seller, so you can be so forgiving.

its not about being forgiving. its about the inconvenience and cost associated with suing someone who doesn't even have any money to begin with. I don't have emotions when it comes to business, im not going to cry over the inconvenience someone has caused me. im going to decide how to proceed and move on. im sure the seller will move on.

You don't have emotions?
How superior to all of us you must feel. LOL.

I modified the post. this is a business transaction, no emotions.
I have no idea where the superiority comment relates to the original post anyway. it just seems to me that you want to believe the seller is going to cry himself to sleep over this event. he isn't happy, he threatened the OP but in the end he will move on. it has nothing to do with forgiveness.
