Hi,

I am new comer to NJ state, i was before living in Memphis,TN. My work location is WTC,NY. i m looking for decent apartment community and travel to WTC,NY for work, i m not finding any location near to Jersey City or Hoboken for reasonable prices. I prefer staying in a apartment community but not sure how far i have to go and if its too far how to travel to WTC,NY for work.

Can anyone please let me know the areas where i can find apartment communities and also if its too far how to commute to WTC,NY.

Thanks,

Depends on how you want to travel, your rental price range, do you have kids?

PATH PATH - The Port Authority of NY & NJ goes directly to WTC, but doesn't go too far into NJ. The most economical.

You can take PATH from WTC & connect to some NJ Transit train lines at Newark: www.njtransit.com

There are also ferries from NJ to the City New York Attractions - NY Waterway They run buses to/from ferries on both sides.

There are also buses from NJ to the City. Coach USA

Without knowing your budget (i.e. what you can afford to spend per month on rent), it's a little difficult to point you in the right direction.

What I can tell you though is that the closer to the Hudson River you are (and the closer to NYC you are), the more expensive it will be. Hoboken is right there at the water and so are many of the desirable parts of Jersey City.

Suggest you concentrate your search further inland.
