Hello all,

I am new to USA. I will be starting my job in Princeton Area. Looking for a Room to share with some decent people.

I am specifically looking for any transportation going to ETS (Education Testing Service) in Princeton. I am new so I will be initially want to use public transport.

Can you please suggest where can I find the place to live and which areas are better and safe? What will be the range for rent ? and What transportation is available or how to find it?

I have seen the map and found out that Lawrenceville, Plainsboro, Ewing, Trenton (transport option available to Princeton (606).

I am not looking for too expensive or a lot of luxuries just the basic utilities and internet is fine for me.

Thanks in advance for your valuable suggestion.

Regards,
Faraz

No clue. Possibly on Craigslist. Hopefully you are a man won't have to worry about safety.

Snatching? Like kidnapping? No, not in the Princeton area. It's a very mellow area, very low crime rate.

Also, although not totally impossible to live around that area without a car, it is not something that I'd recommend. Living in Central Jersey without a car will be problematic.

If you drive than you can look in surrounding towns for a place to live which may be more cost effective, i.e, Plainsboro, Lawrence, etc.

Look on CraigsList under housing for Central Jersey.

Or, contact a local realtor to ask what rentals may be available in your price range.

Is Trenton a safe place, if I use public transport. I have found bus number 606 is on the route of my Office location.

I have also identified a Room which is nearby to the route.

Please suggest about the Trenton Area.
