Hello...We're looking for a safe area and not too expensive but close like 20min away from RWJ Hospital. I'm in the process of looking at different 1BR apartments in the Somerset/New/South Brunswick area. My husband and I will be moving in the beginning of June. Can someone give us good advice because it can be overwhelming when you start reading the apartment ratings with all the negative feed back. Also, let us know what you think about public transit to RWJ Hospital. Thank You in advance...

Are you looking for an apartment in a community/building? What's your price-range?

You'll be working in New Brunswick? See www.njtransit.com for train schedules. The NorthEast Corridor line goes into New Brunswick.

Coach/USA bus has a bus that stops at the New Brunswick train station. You can see the route that bus takes at: Coach USA

What's your budget? Do you have children, i.e. need a good school district? Do you have a car?
