My Hubby And I Are Trying Desperately To Find A Banquet Hall To Host This As Well As A Reception In For 10-11-08 In Essex Or Union Counties We Would Like It To Be Close To Us As We Live In Essex County We Would Like To Find Our Own Caterer Or Maybe Not For The Right Price.we Will Be Expecting Anywhere From 125-150 People And Would Still Like To Have Space For Cake Table Dj Dancing Etc, Also Any Suggestions For China,linen,chair Covers Would Be Greatly Appreciated Sorry For Rambling But Im So Frustated We Need To Find A Nice Hall Help Please.
sometimes doing everything yourseld costs mor and takes so much time. many restaurants offer nice packages--especially since you have a larger guest list.
i dont know essex county that well, but i know of a couple in passaic county...they are not that far from you and the food is great.
macalusso's and the Brownstone (their prices are really low--especially for buffet--but hurry--they are always booked) are the top i would recomend

I don't know if you ever found a place, but I had my wedding reception at the Montclair Art Museum. Choose your own caterer. It was great!
