My husband and I are considering moving from Ridgewood, NJ to Tewksbury, NJ.
Does anyone know anything about Tewksbury Elementary? From what I have heard and read, it seems that the school system there is almost on par with Ridgewood's. We have a 7 year-old son with an IEP (he has selective mutism which is a social anxiety disorder. Basically, he cannot really speak in school).
The school he is currently at in Ridgewood has been phenomenal with him. He also sees a psychologist who feels like we should not stay here just because of our son, but of course, as parents we NEED to take him into consideration. We are planning on going to meet the staff at the school in Tewksbury, but I would love to get feedback from people who actually know the school. Are the teachers totally invested in the kids? How's the principal? If anyone is familiar with the special ed team, how are they?
We are so torn about moving and I think if we felt that the schools there were just as amazing, we'd feel so much better. If they are much worse, we'll probably stay put.
Such an old post but I am Wondering if the original poster made the move from Ridgewood to Tewksbury and if so - what are your thoughts? Considering a very similar move but having trouble finding much information.

The original post in this thread was the one and only post ever made by dinkydee718, so the probability of him/her seeing your question is...not good.
I would suggest beginning your own thread on this topic, rather than trying to get a response from somebody who hasn't returned to this forum for over 3 years.
