Bob smith will be re-elected and everyone shakes their head at this and other phantasmagorical legislation elected officials in NJ propose.

CA and WA are also proposing such bills and are meeting stiff opposition.

The garden state taxing the water used to water the gardens!

Headline, Nj resident arrested, found guilty and sentenced to prison for water tax evasion. Plea deal proposed, 'I'll plead guilty to smoking on the beach if you drop the tap water tax charges"

NJ legislators should be so creative figuring ways to spend less, prevent waste and fraud in the use of taxpayer money and lower NJ taxes to make NJ an affordable place to live.

No NJ legislator ever woke up and said, what legislation can I propose today, that would boost efficiency and lower cost to save the over burdened taxpayer their hard earned cash.

You know what it is like to visit older relatives on the hottest day and they refuse to turn on the air conditioning because of the electric bill. Now expect to those same folks to avoid drinking water necessary to maintain hydration. I suppose you can scoop the water from the toilet tank for morning tea to beat the tap water tax. Or does the tap water tax include a 'flush tax"?

Will municipal and state buildings be exempt, schools?

911, what's your problem? "I just saw my neighbor siphoning water from my swimming pool, I just know he is going to drink it to avoid the tap water tax"! 911 - 'Well if you have a video, I think we can get him for tax evasion"

than goodness for the electoral college!

Good comments until the end. This has nothing to do with 1776.

Thank you.
