the only impressive aspect to her resume is her political success (which is relatively recent). i wouldnt want to take that away from her, she is somewhere that a lot of other people would love to be right now.

its not really important but that is true. im not sure what you are so impressed by other than that. i generally despise all politicians but a handful so it wouldnt really matter to me what their resume said.

You said calling end of the world in 10 years is not impressive?

What about replacing all transportation with renewable energy in 10 years. Not to forget, paying people who are unwillingness to work a guaranteed wage.

She is probably a lot smarter than Cortez and contributes more to society than she does.

its amazing how many people out there believe that some "green new deal" would be a huge job creator. the whole idea is basically to 1. replace the fossil fuel industry with renewable energy. so you lose a ton of jobs and replace them with different jobs. 2. do this by spending an insane amount of taxpayer money. which would take an industry funded by private dollars and make it into one funded by taxpayer dollars. yet many people talk about a "green new deal" (even before the AOC proposal) as if it is some amazing economy boosting job creator.
