Hi,

we are Singaporean Indian family (2 adults, 1 child) looking for recommendations for accomodation in New Jersey. Few criterias would be, Place shall be say an hour time max for travel to Nyc, good elementary level schools and few indian community to go around. Have read a lot for Edison and Parsippany, which will be better option ? Or any other suggestions apart from these two ?

You have to supply your budget or no one can help you.

Renting? Buying?

There is a "sticky" at the top of this subforum's page for people considering a move to NJ. Answer the questions, and you will get better answers.

If you want to be near the Indian community, definitely go to Edison. If you want more of an urban lifestyle, you should look at Jersey City. Both have large Indian populations, but Jersey City is very urban, while Edison is very suburban.

There is also a significant Indian population in the West Windsor area.
