People just don't think. They sign up for auto pay and then never check their bills or their bank statements. I know people who auto pay their credit card bill and don't even look at the charges. Their nuts.

I totally agree! The only thing I autopay is my car insurance and car payment, because I know they don't fluctuate. I would never autopay something that changes monthly.

The $535 did not occur in one bill..it occured over the last 3 years.. the Member Edge was charging her $14.95 a month. So her bill was always the same.

Autopay?!?!? I cant believe people sign up for this for anything? Why on Earth would you allow a vendor to have access to your bank account? Is it really that much trouble to use online banking on your end to send a payment? Two mistakes here: #1 - Using Verizon for anything #2 - Using Autopay
