Hi. I'm considering moving to Warren and wanted to see if anyone could share some info and their experience taking the Lakeland bus. I know there's a park and ride at Warren Corp building with an express bus at 6:45. Does this bus typically fill up or are there plenty of seats? The bus at King George and Valley also seems to be a good option. Is there anywhere to park a car near that stop? Schedule lists travel time at :50 which is pretty good. How long does it usually take? I take a NJT bus now and I know my trip varies from :35 (rare) to 1:00 (or much longer if traffic is really bad).

Appreciate the help.

I can't help you much with Warren, but from Berkeley Heights the 6:05 a.m. Lakeland is typically and pretty consistently an hour to Port Authority. It makes local stops to Summit, then goes express. On the 5:30 home, the times vary more, from an hour on the shortest end, to an hour and twenty minutes. Maybe once or twice a year there's something that will push it longer. There's no parking in this town for the bus or train until you've waited three years or so for a parking permit. Just from visits to Warren, I think the parking situation might be a little better. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Oh. Schedule lists the travel time as 55 minutes in our case, iirc.
