Hi, I haven't never lived in NJ. Does anyone have a rough idea what SUI/SDI tax rate in NJ are like? For example, for $200k income, how much would I pay annually on SUI/SDI? Thanks!

from the NJ Taxation website:

"For 2006 the maximum employee unemployment insurance/health care subsidy fund/workforce development partnership fund amount is $109.65 and the maximum employee disability insurance contribution is $129.00."

This is deductible on your 1040 if you itemize.

As Tahiti said- regardless of how much you make, SUI/SDI is only going to cost you around $240/year.

Bob - OT - thank you for the restaurant recommendation. We went to Acqua for Mother's Day (I bought a $75 gift certificate for $15 from restaurant.com) and the food was excellent. I would definitely go back. Thanks again.
