PropertyShark recently released their rankings of the top 100 priciest zip codes in the U.S. and two Garden State spots made their debut on the list alongside a regular candidate.

Never heard of New Vernon, NJ, and I've lived in this state all my life.

I hadn't heard of Stone Harbor either but I've never been south of Ocean City I don't think. One of these days I'll get to Cape May .

New Vernon is a area of Harding Township. Very nice area, Between Basking Ridge and Chatham.

I was surprised Spring Lake was not on that list as I always has the sense that was the more $$ town vs. Sea Girt (although both obviously expensive). Also surprised that there were no LBI towns on that list, as at least in the past year seemingly fixers were going for nearly $1M and anything livable was much more. Actually surprised that the list wasn't dominated by shore towns - even relative to the most expensive north jersey blue-ribbon suburbs, the $ psf down the whole shore has gotten absolutely insane.

I wonder what the poorest one is. I think it's in South Dakota.

I know the Pine Ridge reservation of the Lakota is one of the poorest places in the USA so maybe so.
