I don't know what microcosm you live, but the only town that is going to be known when you leave South Jersey is Cherry Hill. Actually, I bet you most people on this forum couldn't even name a town in South Jersey except Cherry Hill.

It might seem there are a bunch of nuances in South Jersey but it is basically a bubble. Cherry Hill is the first major town directly outside of Philadelphia. Just about every highway in South Jersey runs through it, including rt. 38, rt. 70, 295, the NJ Turnpike, rt. 30, rt. 130, rt. 41. It's the only town that most things run through, its the town you probably go to the mall in, so to say that South Jersey is not Cherry Hill centric is absurd.

I learned this a long time being young and going to Rutgers New Brunswick, where people asked where you were from, the answer for everyone from South Jersey was Cherry Hill. The town I grew up in has a population of 25k people, and you would think people outside of South Jersey would know it, but nope they don't.

This one has gone off the rails with the nonsense. It’s all the “real” South Jersey. It doesn’t mean one thing. Neither does North Jersey. Hoboken and Sparta are worlds apart.

You wanna talk about where most of the people love? Yeah, it’s the Philly suburbs. Also, comparing the traffic on 70/73/295 to North Jersey traffic is a joke. Yeah it can be bad, but not THAT bad.

You forgot Rt. 73. Ocnj lives south of that mess.

LMAO, yes, I did. It was the only place it was available at that time.

But it was at the college, so it LOOKED normal!

The boy up there said most people on this forum couldn't name any south Jersey towns, so I named some and so did Gerania. So yeah, pretty much, to prove him wrong.

Ive grew up near the Pines. Theres a locally famous hotdog stand used for people passing through to LBI on the backroad in Chatsworth. Thats really as much as there is out there.

Nice try, but no. All just off the top of my head. I have lived in this state much longer than you have.

Bet you never even heard of MY hometown. Or the one I live in now for that matter!
