After signing our lives away and paying the 470.00 bill for the leftover oil (at least we have about 110 gallons to start off the season with now) our house is, well, our house! It's still kind of a weird feeling being there because it almost feels as though any minute when I'm walking around the backyard someone is going to come out and say "Hey-what are you doing in my yard!?"
Anyway, we're still far from settled as we have two big projects to tackle before really moving in. The first order of business is paint as every room needs it badly. Once that's done we're having the hardwood floors refinished. We were extremely lucky as a colleague of my future father-in-law is doing the work at cost. A special thanks to all of the City Data New Jersey crew who helped us along the way with all of our house hunting trials and tribulations. Before pictures to be posted soon, hopefully with after pictures to follow shortly thereafter!

Anyway, we're still far from settled as we have two big projects to tackle before really moving in. The first order of business is paint as every room needs it badly. Once that's done we're having the hardwood floors refinished. We were extremely lucky as a colleague of my future father-in-law is doing the work at cost.
