Who's gonna see this from Highlands, NJ's favorite son Kevin Smith?
I will because I grew up with him and I used to kick his a$$
It opens tomorrow

LOL - I was just reading that this is banned in Utah theaters (not all but a large chain) that are also showing Saw V. Gotta love the screwyness of the "values" out there.

Not my type of flick but he probably doesn't need the help. The lead in it is always in movies that do really well.

I understand what you're saying, EEEPNJ, but most people are not going out and taking chainsaws to strangers after seeing horror flicks.

On the other hand, addiction to hard core porn is a very, very serious issue with our youth today. Making it look like it's some fun little kiddie movie, doesn't help. I'm not saying they don't have the right to make the movie. But I for one, won't be seeing it.
Okay, I just showed my age by saying "our youth".

I do like Kevin Smith, though.

I definitely plan on watching this, though probably not in the theatre. I don't go out to theatres anymore.

Its rated r. What should it be, NC-17 or some such?

Its a comedy that talks about sex..... which is nothing new in the movie business.

I woudn't know what it should be rated.
I'm just stating my own views. I can't control what is produced, but I can choose not to watch, right?

OP asked a question, and I answered.

I am looking forward to seeing this movie especially since it is made in my hometown Pittsburgh and shot in the Monroeville which is a town right next to the one I grew up in Penn Hills. Plus Seth Rogen is hillarious.

I think our fascination w/ violence is not so cool either.

After 9/11 I remember being really put off by some of the more macabre Halloween decorations. I asked one neighbor (really nicely) if they'd take a "dismemberment" display down. Why? Because another neighbor just ran from the towers saw real body parts all over and I knew that he was really effected by this. She politely obliged - in light of the situation.

I just think it's pretty messed up that a spoof comedy gets the "ax" (no pun intended) but killing and mutliation is ok. Go figure.
