You can take the train or bus to Penn Station / Port Authority and take the subway from there. A or C train uptown to above 59th street. Change to the D train to 161st street.

you can take the rockland coaches to GWB terminal, take the A train to 168th St, then transfer to the #1 train to 157th St, then get onto the street, and walk to 155th St turn left and walk the rest of the way to Yankee Stadium

Depends on where in NJ you are coming from but there are a ton of options.

As stated earlier you can take a bus to port authority or a train to penn station.

If you take the train walk 1 block east to 6th ave and take the B or D train directly to 161st/Yankee Stadium.

If you take the bus to port authority you can either walk 2 blocks east to 6th ave and take the B/D train (same as above). If you don't want to walk you can take the blue line to 53rd I believe and transfer to the 4 train.

mta.info has all of the info you need regarding subways.
njtransit.com has all of the info you need regarding bus/train info from NJ

There's a charter bus that leaves from Hoboken and Matawan on Saturdays going to Yankee Stadium. I went to "all aboard to the games.com" for schedules and info and their fb page.

If you're coming from northern NJ, you could take a bus to the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal and then take the Bx13 bus to Yankee Stadium.

Then again, on game days the roads sometimes get clogged up, so you might be better off taking the (A) down to 145th Street and then taking the (B) to Yankee Stadium. I think the (D) sometimes stops at Yankee Stadium on game days as well (normally it bypasses it, but I think on those days it starts the express run at 167th Street instead)

Otherwise, take the bus or train to Penn Station or the Port Authority Bus Terminal, and then take the Uptown (A) or (C) to 125th Street. From there take the (B) (or (D) if it's also stopping at Yankee Stadium).

I just stand on the side of NJ-4 with a Yankees hat and a case of Coors Light. Get a ride into the Bronx right quick.
