well I went, and lets just say, I would give a few fingers for what this family has set up. What a great little spot and great little bunch of animals. As far as the blankets, I passed, I thought he wanted too much money. I bought a John Atkinson blanket instead over the internet. However great little farm!!!! My uncle when I was a little girl, and my mom was sick in the nut house, used to take me in for summer vacation. Dad had to work and kids could not be alone so I spent summer on a farm outside of Keene , NH. I had a great uncle, with chickens and goats. I had my favorite goat named Solo. He was alittle white tiny goat with little devil horns!!! I think my uncle did more than just farm at the time now this going back ummm 35 years ago. I think he did a little white lightinging in his basement. He always smelt like booze and was pretty happy all the time. I really dont care, just have great memories. Its funny me and husband found the old place, both uncle and aunt are long dead, but it was just like I pictured it. Funny how as kids we hold memories so crystal clear that seemed so happy.

Good memories M. I too had an uncle who was a farmer up in NY State. I think it was in the Catskills but I was too young to remember. I think those memories stayed with me because right now at this very moment when I should be out on the boat I am typing and looking out the window at Cows, Sheep, Pigs, Horses, Chickens and Roosters, and my favorite of all....Texas Long Horns. I guess they are just a Cow with big Horns.

Im no farmer but it sure is nice to be around.

It's probably a good life but I'd rather watch it then do it.

yes good memories, he was a crazy hard working polish nut. However I think the white lightening in the basement was fermenting in oak barrels!! I still think there was alittle more going on but in a harmless way. Thanks Desert
