The guy hasn't even been sworn into office yet and you're already disappointed with him.

I have no idea who you are, but I didn't vote for Corzine.

I guess Corzine didn't raise *every* tax he could, huh?

Folks, we ain't see nothin' yet.

It's interesting that he's not even the governor yet and he's already looking to raise our deficit. Republicans are so concerned about taxes but they never seem to care about the ballooning deficit, except when a Democrat governor is taxing us and the deficit is something else they can use to complain about the Dem. governor.

You're right, we ain't seen nothing yet, and it's going to be bad, as in Christie Whitman borrrow-till-it-hurts bad.

It's like what Reagan and the Bushes did - run up the government's credit card debt taking cash advances to distribute cash in the form of tax breaks to make people temporarily happy and leave the increased deficit to be someone else's problem when they leave office, and then that someone else can be blasted for raising taxes. Same old song and dance...

The gas tax should never be touched unless they take the tolls down, only way. And not much chance of that happening either I guess.
I see the way Delaware does it, charging $4 each way mostly to out of state drivers on their 10 minute stretch of I-95 while the locals avoid that using local roads and enjoy no sales tax.
