Hello,

There is a "new" development at this location (Monarch). I just like to know if this area (and surrounding areas) is nice -- meaning:

-Is it safe
-Quiet
-Clean streets
-Near shopping stores, parks, transportation to NYC (walking distance)
-Any greenery (lots of trees)
-Nice place to raise a family
-Places for entertainment (movie theaters, restaurants)

Any information/comments/opinions is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The crime rate in Plainfield is very high. For comparison, it is higher than East Orange but lower than Elizabeth. Based on that alone, I think the answer would be "no" for most of your questions.
