Born and raise in that city when it was good..trust me stay away unless you happen to be in the newport area with a $200k job..thats different then living in NYC..you save a bundle that way..but really anywhere else is bad news ( want to live..avoid it go live in next town over..where ever it may be).

Only 30% of the City is dangerous , the rest of the City is Average City Crime. Btw when were you in Jersey City last?
If you know the crime rate is only 30% in Jersey city..you might live there I suppose..well good for you.
Me I make money from it..why as I said born and raised there and like all its a hand me down what I have in that city ..great investments you never let go of!

Except for sporadic neighborhoods in the heights, the downtown area, the Journal Square area the city is the pits...your block may be nice but walk around the corner and you're in a war zone
Trust me I grew up there and still have a few relatives there..not a nice place unless you can afford the nicer neighborhoods and they cost $$$$
Yale is a dumpy block especially between Westside & Mallory..it was dumpy back in 1970 but at least in 1970 it was a hell of a lot safer
