I was reading the NM Business Journal Weekly and read about 4 different companies this week announce employment hires.

Molina Healthcare will build a 20 million dollar IT facility in Mesa Del Sol as that area continues to boom.

Verizon Wireless call center to increase another 200 hires at it's locatiion on Central and Coors.

Dean Baldwin Aircraft Painting in Roswell will rehire all it's laidoff employees as the Jet Aircraft Painting business has picked up again out at old Walker AFB.

Even little Hagerman population 400? is getting a brand new Beef Jerkey plant (Fatmans Beef Jerky Co.) that will hire 20 from the village.

May not sound like alot but that's just for one week.

An Associated Press story reports that the NM jobless rate is up slightly but still relatively low at 4.1%. Employment growth is 12th highest in the country -- I assume that ranking is based on a percentage or per capita figure.
