Just curious. I'm on the waiting list for two Mitchell Lamas and I am not in a rush but I am just curious. How long did you wait on the list (all boroughs)?
ML is even better, to be honest. I'm not looking to "flip" a house or make money. I just want to own my own little space of NYC for a reasonable price. For that, ML can't be beat.
People can say what they want but you won't find anything else cheaper in the 5 boros, and your costs arent going up every year or two. I've lived here almost 9 years now, and although my maintenance went from $854 to $1155 (utilities included), still cant beat it. A 2 bedroom around my way market rate is minimum $1600. If you find a 2 bedroom around my way that iss not NYCHA for 1600 i'll be shocked. However the truth is that M-L can feel like a high class housing project at times lol. At least I can afford it and thats all I care about. My maintenance is really $1100 but I pay $25 for a parking spot and $30 for A/Cs.

We own a house but I have a young couple friends with infant. This sounds unbelievably good. What is the condition of the M-L apartments. Well maintained?
