I noticed this new type of restaurant opening in Jackson Heights. It is called "Chifa Restaurant" I went to try their food yesterday and let me tell you, it was the best. They prepare food that you won't find anywhere else in NY. I found out that Chifa is a type of chinese food served in Lima - Peru and several latin america countries. The place is clean and wonderful. Go today to try it.

73-20 Northern Blvd
Jackson Heights, NY 11372

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely check it out. JH has some of the best restaurants (and they're not expensive). I love it!!!

I never knew until fairly recently that Peruvian cusine is one of the most diverse in the world, and Peru is considered one of the great gourmet spots in the world.

Peruvian cuisine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (Scroll down and you can see that there is even a separate article about Chifa)
