Hello.

Im planning to move to NY next year 2011 after im done with bootcamp. I always wanted to move to NY and im going to make it happen. I already live in the ghettos of Cincinnati, which are HORRIBLE, and i don want to move in the ghettos of NY. Im looking for NICE and QUIET places of Queens, Brooklyn or Bronx -- Manhatten is too much. Im also bisexual with no childern, atheltic, a people's person, hyper and love clubbing. If i can get some honest responses from people of NY or in general, it would help my search alot better! Thanks.

Mimi.

In Queens there are plenty of nice neighborhoods to live depending on your budget.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Why would you recomend Van Nest, Morris Park, Parkchester, Arthur Ave, Allerton and Pelham Pkwy to a person whos not even from NY and doesn't want to live in a BAD area? Those are pretty rough areas even for a hardened New Yorker. I recomend you do NOT look into ANY of those areas, that I just said.

Have you been to any of those areas recently? (I'm familiar with all except Van Nest.) Not exactly rough areas. I suspect that "hardened New Yorkers" would only be afraid if they weren't familiar with those areas.

Lol, "Come back from Kansas" never been, but if you wanna discuss your hometown theres another board for that, "JerryCrackHead". Your just another wannabe new yorker whos trying too hard. and Never said they were bad, I wouldnt recomend them is all, theyre all overpriced for what they are and for somebody who is from out of town its definitely not worth it....

Wow....you lost a lot of credibility with this post. Morris park, Pelham Parkway, you have to be kidding me, those are good areas.
