Hi my husband is getting a tranfer to Laguardia Airport and we would love some advice on a few things. We are an interracial family we have 2 boys 12 and 9. We would like to find out info on a great diverse city to live in with good public schools, good sports or recreation for our boys, not to far of a commute, reasonable living expenses, low crime, fun and friendly community. We will rent to begin with(something the boys can have a yard) and later look into buying. We are moving from Port Orange Florida, which is right outside of Daytona Beach. I am in the healthcare field and may or may not be looking for work right off. Can be within/outside of New York.
Any advice is appriciated.
Thanks

In order to give you better advice, perhaps you could share how much per month can you afford for rent and what size home/apt. you are looking for.
