Can anyone suggest any good nighclubs or bars in New york City (Manhattan).
Me and my mate are coming over from England in December for New Years. We have been once before to New York on a brief visit and only found the Copacabana club good. Prefer RNB Music and Dance. (And if anyone can suggest a good club or the place to be on New Years Eve)
As we are only here for 10 days, we dont want to waste a lot of time nightclub hunting .
Is it true then that you have to make reservations at bars and clubs for New Years Eve weeks in advance, as well as buying one of their New years Eve packages..................???????????
As I was under the impression you could just turn up at bars and clubs on the night of New Years Eve and they would just allow you entry.

Naw....New Years is the moneymaker! If the cover for NY's is less than $50, you got in a spot cheap!
Oh wow its not looking good, we arrive into New york on the 27th December, (which only leaves a few days before New Years Eve) it looks as though we have no chance getting into any clubs and bars seeing as you need to book well in advance then..!!!!!!!
Last i heard the Copacabana was getting ready to shut down (again).

They say a new one's for the fall. No idea where, though!
