It's a valid question. NYC is 8.2 Million residents + Out of state workers + Tourists = i would say around 8.7 to 9.2 million (9.5 to 10 million during holiday or nice weather).

I have come to hate the crowdedness of the city. I am hoping to relocate soon somewhere else.
