the building i manage just had the boilers changed from oil to gas a week ago and now there is brown water coming from the faucets and the toilets, is this related?
we have a water heater

A similar thing happened to us when our boiler was being fixed in our building. There were a couple days after that where we noticed brown water, and then it went away. I think maybe it's because they turned off the water for a period of time and then when they turned it back on there was a bit of a build-up or rust or something?

Whenever there's a plumbing changeover of any kind it will kick up a lot of sediment,
