Parts of Queens are urban and other parts-pretty suburban, same with NNJ. What are some major differences though? Pros/Cons? Which is more live? (even though Queens is NYC, I heard that it's mostly laid back)
I know that property taxes are higher in NJ, but you get other taxes in NY.

How is QUeens suburban in any way? Is that compared to Manhattan? Because anything and everything is suburban by Manhattan standards.

QUeens is the most diverse place on the planet (if that counts at all). Has way better better transit than jersey. Businesses stay open later. You adhere to New York state laws which are usually more liberal compared to New Jersey. Black people in QUeens when looking at median income, make more than white people. So there are well off black people in QUeens and they actually live in the more suburban (if you could say that, section of QUeens). Hispanics ,median income, are the poorest group in QUeens. Asians and whites make almost the same in terms of average income.

Queens County QuickFacts from the US Census Bureau QUeens census
Bergen County QuickFacts from the US Census Bureau Bergen census both 2010

I was told parts of Eastern Queens are rather suburban.
I'm just a Russian white. I like black people though, especially women so that's good.
