Lqqk posted that march 8th for an april 15th date so not really that far ahead if they sent it out to make sure the purchaser had it before the full 30 day notice. Of course Lqqk can attempt to close immediately if they are. I know they contacted me but I'm still in the mortgage process...(sigh)...

Ohh, I thought the 30-day notice took effect the day letters are received. That's what I was told, anyway. My mistake. Thanks for the clarification!

I spoke to my attorney, they told me they did receive my closing letter. They are waiting on the loan office to contact them to make sure everything is in its place.

So, $150 seems excessive. Anyone else received this notice and anyone else attorney gave them different amount for the UCC-1 filing?

I don't want to pay $50 more if I dont need do. I will also call Dave Forbes to inquire.
I also got this letter dated 12/28/12 (Chase's attorney) on Friday and yes the filing fee is $150. $275 if I want them to do the lien search which I don't.
