I'm an architecture fanboy, and I saw this in a photo and thought wow! What is this building's name? I couldn't find it in Emporis.

I don't know the name of that building, but I believe that is where the Metlife building stands now.

I'm going to say the NEW YORK CENTRAL BUILDING.
I think they built the PAN AM BUILDING immediately to it's South.

It straddles Park Avenue behind and towering above Grand Central Station.
