My aunt and uncle are coming into town and I'd like to take them to lunch. I seem to always bring them to places like Carmines, DiNapoli's or Juniors. They seem to like those kind of places, but I'd like to try some other place, but something similar. We'd like to to eat around The Museum of National History or The High Line. Any recommendations are appreciated.
I like "The Red Cat" on 10th ave between 23rd and 24th. Also, Cookshop on 10th ave at 20th. Both are near the high line and have really good American food.
Near the High Line on 9th ave next to the entrance to the Chelsea Market there is an Iron Chefs resturant on both sides of the street. Morimoto on one side and one of Batili's on the other. If your parents enjoy the Food Network these are both fun places.

Thanks!
Near the American Museum of Natural History, there is an UNO Chicago Grill restaurant (at 432 Columbus Ave near the corner of West 81st Street) which is quite good.
Yeah those are all chains... UNO Chicago Grill restaurant, Juniors... Red Cat is a good choice. American food with the volume turned up.
