Live Work ? (New York, York: to rent, loft, broker)

Does anyone have any secrets on finding live/work spaces in Manhattan?
We need at least 2500 sq ft. Any help would be much appreciated.

Honestly, unless you have millions to pay for such a space, especially in Manhattan, it isn't going to happen.

We actually do have the money. Not millions which is not necessary, but I didnt know if there were any resources I am over looking. Any leads would be great!

You have to give more details about what your looking for. It's not as simple as "I want 2,500sq ft space to live and work in." What is your budget? What kind of work do you do? Do you want office space? or are you a photographer and need space for a studio? Do you want eveything to be on one floor, like a loft style? or 2-story so your living space is seperated from your work space? Are you looking to buy or to rent?

I guess I wasn't clear, sorry. I am trying to see if anyone knows of a site or organization that deals with this kind of space besides craigslist. New york has so many artists and artist based organizations I just thought I would see if any one knows of possibilities. I am not looking for a broker on this site. Perhaps it does not exists? And once again for the last time it is without millions. Not really looking for validation on that part but thanks.

You also have to keep in mind that most commercial spaces do not allow people to live there --- meaning, you can't install a shower, etc. (and if you get caught with one, you're looking at huge fines)

Are you looking to rent or buy? How much space are you looking for? What part of Manhattan are you looking in?
