Faux fur that is. I'm going to be traveling a lot to the city for internship this winter (hopefully trying to move there soon) and was wondering if people atleast under 60 still wear longer (faux) furs when the weather gets very COLD!

these were the two ideas i was thinking" my ?'s are
which style would be better for a younger woman?
which would blend in more?

Ps. I'll be working in Midtown.

I think the answer is no. It isn't common to see people (except really older women) wearing fur coats at all.

Right. The screams of tortured and exploited animals, sponsored by the utter stupidity of vapid-faced consumers, has the same effect on me.

Coats are already dead. No screaming there. Maybe you are hearing things.

Leather jackets are still fashionable with younger people but fur coats aren't.

Short fur is more sensibly chic, but if you want the Fifth Ave duenna look most wear ankle length mink.
For fake fur, the better choice, think of it only as a keep-warm garment not geared to impress anyone.

If you can afford a full length Blackglama, FLAUNT IT. Anything less is just a coat, wear what you like.

I've seen one stunning full length mink in the last decade...worn in the theater by Celeste Holm. All the others are worn by tiny old d Jewish women.

deeken

Cows are killed anyway for hamburger - so they can use the by products for leather.

Fur coats means killing an animal just for its fur. Right Peta can't save every animal, The red Cross can't solve every disaster and your teachers were not able educate everyone in your class...
