sometime this weekend i will post to inquire if i should bother going to court. id be suing for about $280 i don't know if its worth it. will fill you in at that time. is SCS a city, state or federal filing? the business i want to sue is in manhattan so i assume id have to go to manhattan for court. from what i read the filing fee is $15. thanks all
I can't possibly see how going to small claims court would affect a job application, unless you go on Judge Judy and she publicly rips you a new one. And even then someone would have to have seen the show
it should not appear on your background check if your are the plaintiff. Only the defendant would negatively be affected if you win and are granted a judgment on said person.
