It's a bit of a mish-mosh. Some parts remind me of Brooklyn (Homes in Morris Heights look like some of the streets around Prospect Park South and Lefforts Gardens) but the rest strikes me as a basic NYC street-scape. In terms of looking run-down, I think there is a lot of urban decay (definitely more so than most places in Manhattan), but no different than some sections of Brooklyn or Queens. There is an interesting mix of structures on any given block in the Bronx that you really don't see in other boroughs. In one of those photos, you see a small framed residential house, a tall residential tower, what looks like a NYCHA project, and a commercial strip.
Yo Supermario its really a mixbag. She took those pictures during winter. IF she took pictures during the summer, oh boy those photos wouold have had a thousand different words. Theres alot of nice homes along that sloppy hills towards sedgwick while further up is full of tenements. One of the photos you see a guy walking his pitbull and Garbage on the streets on burnside ave. I cant say rundown or nice, its a really a mixbag of happy and sad like many places in the Bronx.
