I'm curious to know what new yorkers think about their city.. so in 1-2 words and in as many different types of words as you can think of could you describe it? What I mean is something New York has that is nowhere else something you have only felt/seen/heard in new york

Examples:
Noisy
Cars honking
subways
boroughs
etc..

City could be cleaner, subway system should be updated, city tax kinda sucks..

But theres no better food, mix of cultures, diversity, shopping, nightlife, arts, finances, and jobs out there.

Now that I think about it one word really sums it all up:

Superficial

But that can be very beautiful...

Convienient.
Even though you have to wait long for a bus/train at late nights, the ride is pretty quick since no one is really on. (Except Hobos who never get off.) Plus, the food is AMAZING.

Just go upstate and see how boring it is compared to NYC. Each day feels the same, but in NYC, you never know when something is going to happen.

If you think upstate is bad, try Long Island.... everyday feels the same but just add a bunch of obnoxious morons with nasal voices.
