Looks like BDC hosted another annual gentrification conference for the Bronx. I manage to watch a good portion of the video which was posted on youtube. Some of it boring, but speakers made some good points such as references to the failures and success of gentrification of Brooklyn and what can be done for the Bronx to prevent what happened in Brooklyn, while another mentioned the need for not doing traditional jobs like cop, teacher or social worker, nurse but a profession in tech would be better for residents who live in the South Bronx. While another had said Ruben Diaz is a nothing but a con he is not good for the Bronx which I agree with and I have said the same thing for the past couple of years. Another said that people should try to own so that they can stay in their communities Overall a very interesting find and looking forward to the 3rd annual BX gentrification conference.
