crwn -- "affidavits" makes me think that you might be going on to the last stage, but that they might be making you certify the last bits of your income? affidavits are usually the last-ditch way a developer for a project like this certifies freelance or income they can't otherwise back up with third-party info (like a background check). either way it's a GREAT sign!

Default Can you pick your move in date?

I'm also here if anybody has any questions. I move in February 24th.
Did you have a choice in move in date? Or did they tell you which day you had to move in?

Yes you have a choice as long it's after the lease approval date. Mine was the 20th.

Usually it's sent to HDC for approval. Takes about 1-2 weeks for that , then they contact you if you're approved. Then you come in for lease signing.

I was wondering the same thing! I got the usual response... "it's a waiting game" very annoying but I'm happy to be in the running. I hope we all hear back soon. I still haven't seen any of the 2 or 3 bedroom apartments on the market or anywhere else for that matter.

There are NO three bedrooms in this building (thank god lol). It's only studios, 1 and 2 bedrooms.

I'm totally over it this waiting game. HPD must have rejected me, but apparently if HPD rejects you after everything was sent you don't even GET a response back telling you so. How rude.

What happens when you have to move out of your CB? Are you still "in it"? What if I have to go rent a room in Jersey when my lease is up?

Well if you change your residency to NJ, outsiders have the last priority.
